#1315 in Viking Inventory

Epic Egrets (from left) Amber, Persimmon, Ruby, Bluenique and Avocado. The colors Crystal, Evergreen, and Amethyst also exist.

Epic Egrets were first seen in the 1966 - 1967 Viking Catalog and advertised in 1968. The ad listed all the above colors. These Egrets were not shown after the 1971 Viking Price List and Catalog.

There is not a lot of information out on these Egrets. Production was about the same time as the #1310 and #1311 Epic Birds. Some Egrets were pulled to over 15" long. The Amber one shown on the left is 13.5" in heighth. One Viking shop worked continually on the Viking Egrets and Birds. They were Viking's best sellers at the time and sold for $1.25 each. The Ruby and Bluenique Egrets are tougher to find. It was not listed in the Catalog, but I now have the Evergreen Egret in the Gallery.
